Manage reviews and tasks in My work

My work gathers the actions available to you in the current workspace. It includes eligible reviews, approvals, acknowledgments, assigned tasks and signatures. Contracy My work screen with To do, Waiting on others and Updates and fictional demo assignments Choose a view - To do shows work that needs your response. - Waiting on others shows requests and tasks you initiated that are waiting on someone else. - Updates shows your authorized notifications. Use Show to filter by Reviews, Tasks or Signatures, then choose Apply. The next-action control opens the relevant document or task. Respond to a review 1. Open the review from My work. 2. Read the exact document revision shown. 3. Use the available Approve, Request changes, Reject or Acknowledge action for that request. A review or approval is not an electronic signature. If the file changes, a previous response may no longer satisfy the review requirement for the new content. Request a review From an editable document, open the review or approval action. Choose people who have document access, the response type and any routing or deadline options, then choose Request response. Sequential routing makes each eligible response available in order. Work with tasks Choose Manage tasks for the task list. Open a task to check its document context, assignee and due date, then make the permitted changes. If an assignment is missing Check the workspace and filter. Completed, expired or not-yet-eligible work may not appear in To do. A person who has lost the required document access cannot act on an old assignment. Ask a workspace or matter administrator to check access when appropriate. Organize client work with clients, contacts and matters

Clients and matters add context to work that needs it. You can still store documents and request signatures without creating either one. Find the tools Open More tools for Clients and Matters when available. Owners and administrators can show Client and matter tools under Settings → Workspace tools. Display settings do not grant access to restricted records or paid features. Use a client profile Create a client profile and reusable contacts. Client navigation groups Documents, Matters and Contacts. Use Client actions for profile changes and other available client actions. Saved contact names and emails can be reused when preparing recipients. Check the recipient before sending: a sent request keeps a snapshot, so changing a contact later does not rewrite an existing invitation. Create and organize a matter A matter represents an optional engagement. Set its reference, title, client and responsible person, and choose workspace or restricted access. Matter navigation groups Documents, Work, People and Activity. Work can include tasks, reviews, signatures and correspondence. Upload from the matter or one of its folders to keep the filing context. Use Matter actions for settings, exports, file requests and new folders when permitted. Understand restricted access Restricted matters require explicit participation, including for workspace owners and administrators. Confidential documents have additional restrictions. A document collaborator grant does not bypass restricted-matter participation. Request a client upload Use the matter’s file-request action to create an expiring, single-use upload link. It lets the recipient provide one file to the designated matter and does not grant general browsing access. Keep the link private and check the resulting upload.
