Use templates and customize workspace tools

Templates help you reuse a prepared document. Workspace tools and personal shortcuts help you reach the features you use most often. Available features still depend on your plan and permissions. Use a template Templates appears in navigation when the workspace has the required entitlement. Choose an available template, check its document and recipient assignments, and continue through the signature workflow. A ready template can go from People directly to Review and send when its fields and assignments pass the same readiness checks. Open Fields whenever you need to review or adjust the layout. Always inspect the actual PDF before sending. Edit a reusable definition Template changes and PDF replacements are made in a separate draft with an explicit save. Review the draft before saving it. Previous requests retain the snapshots used when they were created; changing a template does not rewrite them. Show optional workspace tools Owners and administrators can open Settings → Workspace tools to show Client and matter tools, Review tools and Records tools. Choose the display preferences and save them. Hiding a tool does not delete its records, stop active assignments or remove legal holds. Existing records remain reachable through permitted contextual links and More tools. These settings do not upgrade a subscription or change access rights. Choose your own shortcuts 1. Open Settings → Your shortcuts, or use More tools → Customize shortcuts. 2. Select up to three available tools. 3. Choose Save shortcuts. Use the named Move up and Move down controls to order them. Shortcuts are personal to you in this workspace. Use Reset shortcuts to clear your choices. A hidden or unavailable tool may stop appearing until your access or the workspace settings allow it again.

Protect your account and recover sign-in access

Use the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar for your personal profile and security settings. Keep authentication details and recovery codes private. Set up two-factor authentication 1. Open Account security. 2. Complete the requested account verification, then choose Start setup. 3. Add the account to an authenticator app by scanning the QR code or entering the setup key. 4. Enter the six-digit code and choose Verify and turn on. 5. Store your recovery codes somewhere safe. Once enabled, two-factor authentication is required after password or connected-provider sign-in. The setup screen expires, so restart setup if it is no longer valid. Use recovery codes carefully A recovery code can be used once when you cannot use your authenticator. Generating new recovery codes replaces all old codes and signs out other sessions. Do not include codes or authenticator QR images in support requests or screenshots. Lost access to another device? From Account security, use Sign out other sessions and complete the confirmation. The current browser stays signed in; other browsers and remembered devices must sign in again. Password and connected sign-in Use Forgot password? on the sign-in page for the email/password recovery flow. Use the connected-provider buttons only when they are available for your account. Keep at least one usable sign-in method before disconnecting another. Only choose Keep me signed in on this device on a private device. If an invitation is waiting after email confirmation, reopen the original invitation and sign in with the invited email address.

Check billing, sending allowances and storage

Billing applies to a workspace. Switch to the correct workspace before checking its plan, usage or payment status. Billing and Storage are available to the workspace owner. Check the current plan Open Settings → Billing. Review the plan allowances, requests sent this month and storage meter shown there. That page shows the current price and features for your workspace. Sending allowances reset on the first day of each month at 00:00 UTC. Drafts and reminders do not consume sends. Storage is retained until files are removed; free workspaces share their free storage allowance, while Business storage is scoped to the subscribed workspace. Manage a subscription Use Manage billing when available to open the payment provider’s billing portal. If a renewal needs attention, follow the payment notice on the Billing page. Cancellation keeps Business access until the paid period ends. If checkout has not updated your plan Allow time for payment verification, then use Check payment status or Check subscription status where shown. Returning from checkout alone does not confirm payment or grant the plan. Keep the checkout reference if you need support; do not share payment-card details. Understand retained storage Open Settings → Storage to inspect stored documents. Original files, versions and signing artifacts can contribute to retained storage. The same file may appear under more than one document. Archiving does not free storage. If storage or retained documents need review, choose Request storage or retained-document review. Account closure, subscription cancellation and deletion of signed records are separate processes; do not assume that archiving performs any of them.
